Julie July Days 184 to 190

Day 190. The Tin Roof
The Tin Roof
Hidden in the thorny shrubs of San Ramon is this long forgotten barn of some sort with a rusty, tin roof. I wonder what its purpose was when it was in its "hay" day? 190. July 9, 2010.

Day 189. The Resting Cowboy
The Cowboy
The resting place for Stephen Thomas Sunday appears to live on with its reminders of his past glory as a Cherokee (which translates as Tsalaghi) Indian cowboy. July 8, 2010.

Day 188. Young Musicians
Young Musicians
At a street fair I came across these young musicians. Although they are still working on their "sound" which at times was a bit off, it was fun to watch them perform. July 7, 2010.

Day 187. The Mount Diablo Challenge
The Mount <span class=
The Mount Diablo Challenge ride is on October 3, 2010. Its an 11.2 mile bike ride that climbs 3,249 feet to the summit of Mount Diablo. Today I made it a quarter a way up and took this photo of the antenna at the top right of the hill from where the rock is. I have lots of riding to do until then! July 6, 2010.

Day 186. Ricki Rasta Man
Ricki <span class=
As you can see, Ricki Rasta is the darling of my life, other than Lulu of course. Isn't he the cutest kitten ever! Day 186. July 5, 2010

Day 185. The Sambahemians

While strolling the Pier down in Monterey during the 4th. of July, Sambahemians were playing their Brazilian rhythms to the crowd. Unfortunately, there were no fireworks due to budget cuts. July 4, 2010.

Day 184. A Photo of the Photo Shoot

While biking the 17 mile loop at Pebble Beach, I stopped at the Inn at Spanish Bay. The grass was so green that it looks fake. It was fun to watch the photo shoot take place for a wedding. July 3, 2010.
