Day 197. Michael Franti at the Greek

Michael Franti and the Spearheads was jamming in his home town at the Greek Theatre in Berkley and the crowd was going wild with enthusiasm, as was he! The girl dancing around in the pink skirt was brought on stage from the audience. July 16, 2010
Day 196. Free Books!

While at the Danville Library I came across this sign for free books. Nothing is free these days so it was a delight to come across this offering. You can get an idea of my random interests by the books I picked up - The Practical Internet, Lasher, The Way the World Works, Financial Reporting and Statement Analysis, Mastering Mac OS X, Photoshop Elements 2 Solutions and Power Talk! Day 195. My Beautiful Green Rose

I am blessed to have my Aeonium plant growing in mild California's weather and not needing too much attention. Otherwise it would not be the the beautiful green rose it is. July 14, 2010.

Ricki is taking over the house and has now established the big chair as his domain. It was a perfect spot to take his picture as he sat still for me. July 13, 2010.
Day 193. The Swirling Peacock

An artist's interpretation of a Peacock in Orinda caught my eye. In the east bay they strut their feathers and let you know they are their with their shrill voices but they are quite loved and protected. July 12, 2010.

The Ramp in San Francisco is one of those hidden destinations that brings sun, fun. music and Samba dancers together. July 11, 2010.
Day 191. Its Not What is Always in the Water

Sailing in the Bay, I am always on the look out for dolphins, whales and other critters but what caught my eye today was the Coast Guard helicopter practicing drills by the Corinthian Yacht Club in Tiburon. July 10, 2010.
